Buiten Gewoon Good
'(Exceptionally) good outside' – that's the rough translation of Midas' brand essence. All locations of the day care chain have big outdoor areas, helping kids to explore nature playfully.
The original plan was to keep the rebranding low-key, just a subtle update to the old logo. But as we got into it, we realized we could take it a step further. The main feature is the logo, a 'grass crown' that ties back to the name 'Midas'. Every design starts with an empty 'grass field'—a slightly uneven rectangle that can be filled with text, images, and fun little illustrations of flowers and toys.
Once we nailed down the brand guidelines, we dove into designing the website and a bunch of other stuff—signage, car and bike wraps, clothing, a fair stand, and lots of printed materials. (More photos coming soon!)
